1. Who we are
ZM Gifts provides a web-based service for creating, hosting and sharing digital invitations. ZM Gifts is part of the ZM Softwares Network. If you have a privacy question or request, contact us at info@zmgifts.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use ZM Gifts, we may process:
- your email address when you ask us to send your invitation link and QR code;
- invitation details you enter, such as names, event date and time, venue, address, messages, host details and RSVP contact information;
- photos you choose to upload for your invitation;
- basic technical and security information such as IP address, browser information, request time and server logs;
- payment-related records such as payment status, transaction reference and amount once payments are enabled.
3. Photos and image processing
Uploaded photos are processed for web use. We may resize and convert uploaded images to WebP, remove original metadata and use randomized filenames. Original temporary upload files are deleted after successful processing. Optimized images are retained only as needed to provide the invitation service.
You should only upload photos that you have permission to use. Please avoid uploading images that contain information you do not want visible to people who receive your invitation link.
4. Public invitation links
A published invitation is designed to be shared. Anyone who receives or obtains the invitation link may be able to view the invitation, including the names, event information, photos and contact details that you chose to place on it. Search engines may be instructed not to index invitation pages, but a shared link should not be treated as a private or confidential storage location.
5. Why we use your information
We use information to:
- create, host and display your invitation;
- process and optimize uploaded images;
- send your invitation link and QR code by email;
- provide maps, calendar and RSVP-related functionality;
- process and verify payments once payment functionality is enabled;
- prevent abuse, investigate technical problems and keep the service secure;
- respond to support, privacy and legal requests.
6. Payments
Payments may be processed by Ziina and its payment partners. ZM Gifts does not need to store your full card number, CVV or other complete card credentials. Payment providers process those details under their own privacy and security practices. We may receive limited transaction information needed to confirm that an invitation has been paid for.
7. Service providers
We may use hosting, email delivery, payment processing, security and other technical service providers where necessary to operate ZM Gifts. These providers may process limited information on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
8. Cookies and sessions
ZM Gifts may use essential session cookies or similar technical identifiers to keep draft uploads and form activity working correctly. These are used for service functionality and security. If we later add optional analytics or advertising technologies, this policy will be updated where required.
9. Retention and deletion
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain transaction and support records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. Temporary or abandoned uploads may be deleted automatically. Published invitation data and optimized photos may remain stored while the invitation is active or as otherwise reasonably necessary.
You may request correction or deletion of personal information by emailing info@zmgifts.com. Some records may need to be retained where required for payment, accounting, fraud prevention, legal claims or other lawful obligations.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. However, no online system can guarantee absolute security, and users are responsible for deciding what information they choose to place in a shareable invitation.
11. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction or other processing of your personal information. Contact us at info@zmgifts.com to make a request.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as ZM Gifts changes, including when new payment, analytics or account features are introduced. The latest version will always be published on this page.
